We Are a Leader in Oculomics

We are revolutionizing early disease detection with point-of-care teleretinal scans.

Helping Clinicians Detect Disease Early, Improve Outcomes, & Maximize Value

We operate at the convergence of MedTech (data + AI) and Healthtech (teleretinal), committed to creating next-gen population-based Oculomics solutions that enable early disease interception that offer value to primary care practices, clinical lab testing sites, retail pharmacy clinics, integrated health systems, and patients alike.

We offer a turnkey teleretinal scanning solution for point of care clinicians to better evaluate their patients.

With our unique all-in-one approach, we help clinicians meet essential quality metrics, maximize reimbursements, and most importantly, detect diseases early to reduce the long-term burden of preventable diseases.

We chose diabetic retinopathy for our first application since it is the most feared complication of diabetes.

"We made a bold decision to prioritize screening. As a physician, I will have succeeded if I can leave this world a little better than I found it. We can all take pride in the work we do here at Vitazi.ai."

The Problem

Often, There Are No Early Symptoms of the Disease Making Annual Eye Scans Critical for Early Interception and Treatment. Patients Developing the Disease Might Even Have 20/20 Vision.

Only 50% of diabetic patients get an annual eye scan

Until recently, the only way to detect diabetic retinopathy before any noticeable symptoms was through retinal examination by a trained ophthalmologist using dilation. This is a lengthy & costly procedure that patients resist due to lack of transportation, time-off work, reluctance to have drops put in their eyes, lack of coordination between PCPs and specialists, multiple visits and co-pays, and lack of access to specialists.

of diabetics do not get annual diabetic eye scans.

%

of severe vision loss can be prevented with annual scans and treatment.

Founder Story

How Did Vitazi.ai Come About?

Created by a physician for physicians

Vitazi.ai is the brainchild of Dr. Jeremy Stueven, CEO. During his tenure as an emergency room physician, he envisioned retinal scans as a new vital sign included in routine physiological measurements. Since the retina is a vital source of information on our systemic health, retinal scans can help detect several health conditions and help prevent, even reverse, the progression of disease.

Through Vitazi.ai, Dr. Stueven is implementing his vision into reality by making teleretinal scanning accessible, enabling earlier interventions, better patient outcomes, and a proactive value-based approach to healthcare.
